 The
Torrential Pump is a LARGE VOLUME-LOW PRESSURE liquid mover. With 48,200
US gallons per hour capacity in low lift and no lift situations, it outperforms all other
pumps in its class.
The
Torrential pump is affordable and a boon to a wide variety of cost conscious users who
recognize its efficiency and effectiveness. Embodying all the best in engineering design,
the Torrential pump combines lightweight portability and economical speedy operation ---
set it and forget it. The relatively small size enables transport in a car trunk or pickup
box.
The
Torrential pump floats on the water surface and will settle to the bottom as the water
level recedes. The Torrential will continue to work in a few inches of water.
For
long life and continuous operation in silt and muddy water, the impeller of the Torrential
pump is constructed of wear resistant polyurethane, which is driven by heat treated metal
gears. These gears are lubricated by an oil bath within an enclosed independent gear case.

FEATURES
- LIGHTWEIGHT
Net weights of only 68 lbs. and 75 lbs. make these pumps practical for one
man operation.
- DURABLE
The pump housing is constructed of impact resistant fiberglass moldings
which are filled with airfoam to ensure flotation regardless of damage to the housing. The
non-wearing indestructible urethane pump impeller is designed to handle any object which
will pass through the 1" diameter holes in the pump screen. The pump base screen
assembly is constructed of noncorroding impact resistant A.B.S. thermo plastic. The screen
is easily removed when cleaning is necessary.
- EFFICIENT
A heavy duty 4 cycle engine is used for maximum economy. The Torrential
pump engine will operate on 1 gallon of gasoline for several hours. Auxiliary Land fuel-
tank can be used for longer pumping periods if required.
- SELF PRIMING
No suction hose is needed. Fast action impeller delivers water the instant
the motor is started.
- EASY STARTING
A soft pull recoil and electronic ignition ensure dependable performance.
- QUICK COUPLING HOSE
The pump features instant self-sealing hose connections and uses 100 feet
of lightweight 6" plastic hose for normal applications. For extreme situations
6" heavy duty hose is available. No tools are required to attach the hose to pump or
to join lengths of hose together.
- WARRANTY
All Torrential machines are covered bya one year limited warranty. Either engine is
covered by a two year limited warranty.
